LBD & Sneakers 4 Ways

LBD & Sneakers 4 Ways

When packing for a trip, I try to bring very versatile, basic pieces, and build the outfit from there. This helps save space. I find one of the easiest and most versatile pieces to be a little black dress. I’ll link some great ones below with the rest of the look (scroll down)! Dress it up, dress it down; the possibilities are endless. Call me an outfit repeater if you please, but I call it versatility! Here are 4 ways I styled my T by Alexander Wang LBD during my New York trip:

I wore this dress with my leather All Saints jacket, white Nike sneakers, and Celine mini tote. It makes for a very sleek, somewhat edgy look. I also paired it with my denim Rag & Bone/JEAN jacket for a casual look that was super easy to slip into after a low impact Pvolve class. One, done, out the door!

No mom, I don’t know how your FRAME blouse found its new home in my closet but its very happy there, THANKS! This is one of my favorite new pieces. I like to dress it up a bit more and wear it with pants and heels for dinners or fancier/more formal events and dress it down with denim shorts and tennis shoes or as I have with my LBD for day-to-day wear.

It is a very rare occasion that I get to wear a coat in Los Angeles so when visiting New York, I had to take the opportunity at least once!

Though not photographed, I also wore this LBD with a cozy black COS sweater. Its such a simple outfit to throw on! Wear it with a pair of  booties, sneakers, or get fancy and throw on a heel! Since I was running around the city, I went with the sneaker for the daytime and transitioned to a bootie for the evening.
